That depends on the modem. Many modems have a limit of 40 characters.
Try something like this:
atdt<first-part-of-phone-number>;
atdt<rest-of-phone-number>
Note the semicolon after the first ATDT command. See your modem manual
for details. Also, C-Kermit and Kermit 95 users can see the discussion
of this topic (multistage dialing) on pages 72-73 of "Using C-Kermit",
2nd edition.
